Hello there! My name is Alissa Nagtegaal, and I’m so glad you dropped in. I am so excited to meet you! I LOVE photography- I just can’t get enough of it. From engagements and weddings, to capturing kids being kids, I love it all. Time goes WAY too fast, and for myself I almost get as much joy from reliving photos of memories than from the event itself. If we could just slow down every moment, we’d see the beauty in each frame. That is my dream for you, that I can capture you and your loved ones as you are, so you have a memory to look back on in the years to come.

As it turns out, Nagtegaal is actually Dutch for Nightingale, which is fitting since in my other life I am a Registered Nurse. (So don’t fear, I’ve got you covered! I’ll always have a first aid kit! ;))

I am a wife, and I also have five rambunctious young children- Oliver, Grayson, Cedric and our twin girls Brooklyn and Kennedy. So there is no need to be nervous, or think that you have to have perfectly behaved kids in order to have a photo shoot. If your kids are shy, if they’re loud and wild, if they have a meltdown-there is no judgement here! I’ve been there!!
